Beer #108: Dominion City Shed No Tears Foreign Extra Stout (7.2%) out of Ottawa has a nice chocolatey aroma and flavours of bitter cocoa and prunes. A beauty of a beer, and a stand-out stout. As a former student in Halifax, I like the reference to Stan Rogers' Barrett's Privateers: "Shed no tears / Now I'm a broken man on a Halifax pier / The last of Barrett's Privateers."
