Beer #180: The Hamilton Brewery Test Batch Riley Red Ale (4.5%) has a subdued caramel flavour balanced with a bit of bitterness from the Bramling Cross and Willamette hops. A great post-workday beer. Owner Warren Pyper started the brewery after serving with The Royal Hamilton Light Infantry in Afghanistan, not knowing what to do when he returned from his tour. I'm glad he chose to found THB.
