Beer #251: Great Lakes Winter Ale (6.2%) pours a reddish copper, and I already catch the spice in the aromas as I’m pouring it. Although it’s brewed with orange peel, cinnamon and other spices, the ale flavours still punch through. It’s the perfect drink to sip while reading a book next to a fire. Me? I’m drinking it while washing dishes. And that's fine, too.
