Beer 12: High Park Brewery Across the Pond English Special Ale

Dianne and I used to do a lot of running through High Park in the west end of Toronto, where High Park Brewery originated, when we lived in the area. To commemorate our park runs, I made Dianne taste the Across the Pond English Special Ale (5.5% alc.). She prefers lagers, but I'm hoping by the end of this project, she'll have expanded her palette. Caramel malt notes meld with a whiff of hops. It's not heavy on the flavour, which is just fine.
