Beer #125: Collingwood 1854 Anniversary Ale (6.8%) is a Belgian ale barrel aged for a year, to commemorate the third anniversary of the brewery by honouring the original Collingwood Brewery that was founded in 1854. It pours a reddish copper with a quickly fading head. Aromas of tart cherry and hay lead to sweet and sour notes of lemon, honey and rose petal and creme brûlée and lemon tart at the finish. Great way to ring in an anniversary.
